Jaszowiec. Forgotten Modernity

The film tells the story of the first holiday centre in socialist Poland, constructed between 1961-1970 This project was awarded in a competition for a holiday centre “for the masses”. Sadly, the centre hasn't fared well over the years. Is preserving this piece of modernist vision in the Beskids mountains worthwhile? Does it offer insight into lost modernity or serve as a valuable lesson for contemporary architects and investors? "Jaszowiec. Forgotten Modernity" documentary aims to explore these questions.
